Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern the provision of moving, storage, and related logistics services offered by:

Hereinafter referred to as "the Company". By contracting the Company's services, the Client agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
1. Scope of Services
The Company provides moving, relocation, and storage services primarily for students, including:
- Local and intercity moves
- International relocations
- Temporary storage services
- Group student moving services
- Collection and delivery coordination
The exact scope of services shall be detailed in the quotation or service confirmation issued to the Client.
2. Quotations and Booking
2.1. All quotations are based on the information provided by the Client (volume, addresses, dates, access conditions, etc.).
2.2. If the actual service differs materially from the information provided, the Company reserves the right to adjust the final price accordingly.
2.3. A booking is confirmed only once the Client has accepted the quotation and, where applicable, paid the required deposit.
3. Client Responsibilities
The Client agrees to:
- Provide accurate and complete information regarding the move.
- Ensure proper access to pickup and delivery locations.
- Be present (or appoint a representative) at the agreed times.
- Properly prepare belongings for transport, unless otherwise agreed.
- Inform the Company of fragile or valuable items in advance.
Failure to comply may result in additional charges or delays.
4. Prohibited Items
The Company does not transport or store:
- Illegal substances or materials
- Hazardous or flammable goods
- Perishable items
- Cash, securities, or high-value jewelry
- Items prohibited by transport regulations
The Client is solely responsible for ensuring that prohibited items are not included.
5. Pricing and Payment
5.1. Prices are stated in the quotation and may include transport, handling, and storage as specified.
5.2. All prices shown in quotations are inclusive of applicable taxes (IVA/IGIC), unless explicitly stated otherwise. Transport of goods is subject to the standard VAT rate in Spain.
5.3. Payment terms shall be indicated in the quotation or invoice.
5.4. The Company reserves the right to withhold delivery of stored items until full payment has been received.
6. Storage Services
6.1. Stored items will be kept in secure facilities.
6.2. The storage period begins on the agreed date of collection and ends upon delivery.
6.3. If the Client fails to arrange redelivery within the agreed period, additional storage fees may apply.
6.4. If payment is outstanding for more than 30 days, the Company reserves the right, in accordance with applicable law, to retain or dispose of the stored goods to recover unpaid amounts.
7. Liability
7.1. The Company shall be liable for loss or damage to goods only where such loss or damage results directly from negligence attributable to the Company.
7.2. Liability shall be limited to the maximum amount permitted under applicable transport regulations, unless additional insurance has been contracted.
7.3. The Company shall not be liable for:
- Damage resulting from inadequate packing by the Client
- Pre-existing defects
- Force majeure events (natural disasters, strikes, government restrictions, etc.)
- Delays caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control
8. Insurance
Basic liability coverage may be included as required by law. If the Client requires extended coverage for high-value items, additional insurance must be requested in writing prior to service execution.
9. Cancellations and Modifications
9.1. Cancellations must be communicated in writing.
9.2. The Company reserves the right to charge cancellation fees depending on the notice period provided.
9.3. Date changes are subject to availability and may result in price adjustments.
10. Right of Withdrawal
In accordance with Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights and Spanish Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007, consumers generally have the right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 calendar days without giving any reason.
However, pursuant to Article 103(l) of the Spanish Consumer Law and Article 16(l) of Directive 2011/83/EU, the right of withdrawal does not apply to services related to transport of goods where the service is contracted for a specific date or period. Since our moving and storage services are scheduled for specific dates agreed upon during booking, this statutory exception applies.
If you wish to cancel a confirmed booking, please refer to Section 9 (Cancellations and Modifications) above.
11. International Services
For international relocations, the Client is responsible for:
- Providing correct customs documentation
- Complying with import/export regulations
- Paying any applicable customs duties or taxes
The Company shall not be responsible for delays caused by customs authorities.
12. Data Protection
Personal data shall be processed in accordance with the Company's Privacy Policy and applicable data protection legislation (GDPR).
13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by Spanish law. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be submitted to the competent courts of Madrid, Spain, unless mandatory consumer protection rules provide otherwise.
14. Amendments
The Company reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions. The version applicable shall be the one in force at the time of booking.
